Nǐ hǎo cóng māmā ( Hello from mom)

Hi! My name is Brittany and I’ve decided to start this blog to document my eldest daughter Ryann-Ashlee, progress in learning Mandarin Chinese. From the moment she was born I made it my mission to give her the best life possible. I wanted her to explore different cultures, learn foreign languages and immerse herself in a world of fun.

From infancy Ryann-Ashlee has been taught English, Mandarin Chinese, American sign language (asl) and Spanish.  With the help of Library books, Dvds, and YouTube, my family and I have been able to teach her from home. We’ve focused primarily on teaching her Mandarin Chinese as her secondary language.

I want to use this blog as a way to share her day-to-day activities and incorporate the things she learns in Mandarin Chinese. I hope you enjoy following her growth as we explore the Chinese language!
